Samantha auctions personal items to raise funds for her Charitable Organization

Samantha Ruth Prabhu started a Charitable Organization to help Children and Women a year ago. After battling with immunity disorder that left her bedridden for over two months, she decided to help those in need of medical assistance. "Lot of people, who I did not know personally, took care of me when I was ill. It got me thinking about how I could repay back to the society" says Samantha. Along with 3 doctors she started the philanthropic foundation. Her eagerness to help more people made her to auction her personal items to raise funds for the organisation. The team is constantly growing in numbers with like minded people. At a recent meetup to discuss, how to reach out to more people gave rise to the idea of auction her personal items like - Designer clothes that she wears for public functions, accessories and her wardrobe from films. It is expected that the auction will be held in the middle of the month October. Samantha is planning to rope in other Tollywood stars into the charitable organization.

She recently sponsored medical expenses for breast cancer patients. Sources says that "Hansika will be adopting a child and 10 women who are diagnosed with cancer, she has already been supporting 22 kids. She has been working on 6 of her projects (5 Tamil movies and 1 Telugu movie)

In the current trend where actresses were more eager to shed some kilos, Poonam Kaur has done the reverse! For VZ Durai's 6, which stars Shaam in the lead, the actress put on 6 kilos to look bubbly. The role has two looks. In one portion of the movie, she has to look younger and in the rest, mature.

Poonam admits that she was initially hesitant to do so as it could affect her other projects. But director Durai had showed her a pic of another actress and told me that people in Tamil Nadu prefer actresses who are "a little on the Healthier side". She was 51 kg before signing up the film and by the time she had finished the shooting it was 51+6=57 kg!!

Canadian actress Nina Dobrev says she prefers to be in a settled relationship and does not believe in one-night stands. The 24-year old recently split from her Vampire Diaries co-star Ian Somerhalder.
                            "You either have a chemistry or you don't, but a lot of what attracts me is a guy's mind and talent. I need to get to know all those things before I fall for someone. I'm not a one-night-stand kind of girl. I'm a relationship girl," she told to US magazine.
                                                 I'm progressive in some ways, old-fashioned in others. I like it when guys hold the door open and are sweet and thoughtful. A man in a suit looking put together and dapper is very attractive, but I also kind of like the I-just-rolled-out-of-bed, a little-bit-of-scruff, effortless, not-trying-hard-but-still-sexy-guy.
